International News is a publication for a given period of time on political, social, or economic change around the world. Here, growth implies a shift or, in simpler terms, "news." For the nations of Asia, Donald Trump's news will come under International News. Likewise, if I were an Asian, I would receive foreign news about Asia. Ideally, a news story that politically, socially, or economically impacts the world should be called a foreign news item. With this ideal, it would seem more unlikely that news about Donald Trump would be world news than news about Donald Trump waging war on, say, Syria. But now, as the world has become so interconnected, news reports are called international news even from remote locations in African countries, so we can agree that international and mere foreign news has become interchangeable.
